Obama is correct to shut down Guantanamo and end torture. Terrorism is a crime and the Constitution spells out what the government may and may not do in that regard.  Those suspected of a crime must be accused of such and brought to a speedy trial by a jury of their peers. Furthermore, the accused may not be subjected to unreasonable punishment. Those suspected of these crimes should be tried in court. If they are guilty they should be sentenced, if not, they should be let free. I suspect that the government cannot prove any of the detainees guilty and they therefore should be released to their country of origin. Our un-Constitution foreign policy has generated the hatred toward us and it must be changed back to our tradtional American policy of Peace, commerce, and honest friendship with all nations, entangling alliances with none.
